This evening after getting my raging 3 year old daughter into bed I went and made a start on x2 ash doors for the kids bedrooms. I have already made x3 for the house so the process does seem to be getting quicker and easier. They are a fairly basic door but they don't need to be anything anymore fancy to suite the property, and also all the detail in this beautiful wood does add a lot.
I started by selecting pieces of wood to best match the width I require (as all the boards I have are different widths)
I then cut them to length
Cutting the tongue and groove is the next job. This isn't to difficult on my Triton saw bench it just takes a little time and head scratching to get everything setup right.
Reasonable progress was made this evening, I am hoping to get everything fastened together tomorrow night.
